HCSD Hosts Inaugural Community Partnership Celebration

(December 8, 2025) – Food, fellowship, and many heartfelt thanks from HCSD!
 
This morning, the Harrison County School District hosted a special Community Partnership Appreciation Breakfast to honor more than 50 individuals, organizations, businesses, and faith communities whose ongoing support has strengthened our schools and enriched the lives of our students, staff, and families! The event brought together our committed education partners who have contributed time, resources, mentorship, financial support, and volunteer service over the years.
 
During the program, district leaders recognized our community partners and highlighted the various forms of support they provide. Attendees also heard stories demonstrating how these partnerships have significantly impacted student success. Special recognition was given to Mr. and Mrs. Brian and Yvette Pearse for all they have done to support the safety and well-being of our students, specifically through their K & J Foundation.
 
This inaugural program provided the perfect opportunity for HCSD to express our deep gratitude for the collaborative efforts that continue to create meaningful opportunities for students both inside and outside the classroom.
